Landscape Questions

1. What is involved with a landscape plan? What is the fee?

Complete or partial property plans vary depending on the scope of the work involved. Planning stages may begin with a preliminary or conceptual drawing before the final plan is complete. Obtaining municipal permits and approvals may be part of the planning process which involves building codes, zoning, co-ownership and Condominium boards. In some cases engineers and or consultants may be involved. Fees vary using a defined rate as per the scope of the work involved.

2. What are the crucial elements of the landscape plan?

The hardscape portion of a plan is the most crucial element. This may be fixed elements that do not change and will in turn accommodate a successful ' space plan '. Consideration is given to utilizing architectural standards for example parking spaces, walkways, patios, BBQ, storage sheds, pools, cabana's, vegetable gardens, and so forth. Finalizing a space plan will lead to construction detailing of selected materials and finishes. The finer details or softscape is then developed with particular attention given to plant material selection. Particular attention is given to sustainable, ecological balanced landscapes.

3. Does your company build what you design?

Yes we are a design / build company. Scope of Work estimates will be provided. Upon approval of the estimate a contractual terms and agreement form is carried out.

4. Do you guarantee your work?

Yes we guarantee all materials and workmanship as per our contractual agreement.

5. Do you give ideas or suggestions for our property?

We offer consultation as per appointment. The vision may be best laid out in design format.

6. When can you do the job. What is your schedule like?

Planning stages may begin immediately although scheduled work may begin in sequence of incoming contractual work and as per weather conditions.

7. Who will be working on the property?

Our supervisor and management staff are certified and trained in the field or sector of which they have been employed.

8. Do you prune trees? Do you remove trees?

We are in the business of beautifying and maintaining the structural integrity and vitality of plant materials. Our certified Arborist ( ISA ) on staff will assist in developing `tree maintenance programs specific to each site.

9. When is the best time to prune our plant materials?

Plant material thinning, shaping, plant revitalization, varies as per plant species in the right time of the season based on your `tree maintenance program` site specific.

10. Do you maintain residential properties, Condominium sites, Commercial properties?

Yes, we offer a full service department in residential and commercial sites from lawn/bed maintenance, to mature tree management. We consider the wants and needs of each property to a contractual mutual agreement.

11. Do you encourage natural plant health care?

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) and ecologically sound programs are essential in maintaining an environmentally friendly balance with nature. We offer organic products. Biodiversity is a major consideration and sustainable products are a key factor.
