Here are some of the services we offer through our property maintenance program:
Natural Organic Property Care Program:
The lawn care industry is required to use alternatives to pesticides. As such Western Landscape Services has been a leader in the Kingston community developing a natural solution to pest and weed control. For each visit we will assess your property and note the current condition of your lawn and develop the proper plan required in order to improve the state of your lawn. Monitoring is an essential element of any lawn care program. As the health of your lawn progresses, fewer procedures will be needed, at which point a less intensive plan may be developed and implemented. Western Landscape Services is forefront in acquiring new technology and development to bring better and more effective lawn care treatment.
At Western we developed the 'Organic Lawn Care Program' which helps our customers get to the 'root' of their lawn problems. The goal of this program is to restore the health of your lawn below the soil line. Once the soil is healthy, all that remains is to maintain plant health. A healthy lawn is more resistant to weeds and harmful insects; so by treating the 'root' of the problem, a healthy lawn will continue to grow in a vigorous manner.
Here is a fact to help you understand this process:
Slit Seeding
A machine with small rotating blades spaced approximately 1-1/2” apart, penetrate the soil while it aerates and removes the thatch layer. Aeration allows the water, air, and nutrients to be absorbed into the root zone of the turf. The thatch is left on the turf to decompose and add organic materials back into the soil.
Lighting Systems Maintenance:
Our full Design/Build department at Western Landscape Services installs and maintains lighting systems. After a lighting system is installed it is recommended that a regular maintenance check be performed. This is done to monitor tree/plant growth is monitored and landscape changes and their effect on the lighting system. During our maintenance visit we will carry out the following:- perform an overall systems check
